Angels for Minis Miniature Horse Rescue is a 501 c3 non-profit miniature horse rescue that is dedicated to the well being of this unique breed. It is our goal to rehabilitate the abused, neglected or unwanted minis that are innocent victims of their circumstances. We are able to achieve this through the charitable works of our members, sponsors, fosters and the adoptive homes that help us in our fight to take care of these wonderful animals.

Angels for Minis is governed by a board of directors that relies solely on the donations and contributions that are received to help in the transport and care of our rescues. The average expensive per horse after an initial veterinary visit is $250-750. With the help of our sponsors and those who can donate their services we are able to provide those we rescue with proper veterinary treatment, feed and any other necessary care they may require to rehabilitate them. In addition to their health needs, with the help of our volunteers, we provide the rescues all the love, compassion and attention some of them have never known.

Angels for Minis does not currently have a central facility and so we rely on our generous and supportive foster homes to help maintain and love the minis until they are ready to be adopted into their forever homes. We are based in the San Francisco Bay Area but have reached our rescue efforts to other states in need.

"One's kindness towards a Mini Horse
may not change the world,
but it will surely change
the world for that one Mini."

To accept miniature horses in need by volunteer surrender without judgment. We acquire horses through the network of shelters, animal control, and the tips from concerned parties on the issue of abandonment cases. It is our hope that through continual education and help that we may minimize the amount of miniature horses currently in need.
